Who is responsible

Andrey Mikhaylov, Spain, operates EcoGenesis and is responsible for its processing of personal data. Contact support@ecogenesis.world about your information.

Requests and service operation

You can read the encyclopedia without an account. Our servers process your network address and request information to deliver pages, limit abuse and investigate errors. Security records help protect the service and its users.

An account uses your email address and sign-in information so you can save and resume your exploration. Necessary cookies protect sign-in and your session. Account emails concern verification, access recovery and service support.

Optional analytics

Analytics are off until you agree in Privacy choices. You can refuse or withdraw permission there at any time. Public page categories and interaction counts help us understand which explanations work. We exclude search text, scientific content and account or administrator activity from analytics events.

When Google Analytics is enabled and you consent, Google receives browser and device information and uses cookies and browser identifiers to recognise visits. This is not anonymous collection. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled. Our own analytics events have a 90-day expiry; consent receipts have a two-year expiry. Google event and user retention is set to 14 months, without resetting the period on a new visit; aggregated reports can remain longer.

Service providers

The site and account service run on Hetzner infrastructure in Finland. Infomaniak provides the domain email service. Google provides optional Google Analytics when you consent. Providers process information needed for their respective services; Google processing may take place outside the European Economic Area under its applicable data-processing arrangements.

External sources

Pages may display attributed media and links from external sources. Loading external media or following an external link sends a request to that provider. The provider's own terms and privacy information apply to its service.

Your information and choices

Account information is used to provide the account you request. Service security relies on our legitimate interest in protecting users. Optional analytics relies on your consent. We do not sell your personal information.

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to or restrict processing, by contacting support@ecogenesis.world. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. Necessary security and legal records may be retained after account deletion. You can also contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your local supervisory authority.
